Richardo Taimanao

U.S. Army, NCO, 82nd Airborne Rangers (Ret.)

Why I am a Marauder

I served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army’s elite 82nd Airborne. I can only imagine what impact it would have had on my family if I had been killed and my body never recovered.

Ricardo Taimanao

The effort put forth by my fellow Marauders and I to locate members of our armed forces that made the supreme sacrifice to protect our freedom but never enjoyed the privilege of seeing their homes and loved ones again, is not only a responsibility that I welcome, it is a moral obligation that I feel deeply committed to.
