Why I am a Marauder

In the time that I have known Ken, I have come to learn, understand, and appreciate the importance of the Marauder Mission. I consider it a privilege and honor to serve our WWII Veterans in any capacity and what better way could there be than to help bring closure to the families of these heroic MIAs.

I have been an instructor/lecturer in Anthropology/Archaeology/Forensic Archaeology at Langara College for just over 30 years. I am also a founding member of the British Columbia Association of Professional Consulting Archaeologists as well as an ex-Vice President of the Rock Art Research of Canada organization. In addition, I teach a regular Summer field school in archaeological techniques - usually in association with First Nations groups here in Canada.

An important part of my regular duties at the college and as a professional consultant has required recovery of skeletonized human remains here in British Columbia, but also in Africa.

I am a black powder and modern firearms enthusiast, married to Rena, with two sons and two ferrets.
